The show is a presentation of Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein, the producing frm with which Graham Greene had wanted to do business, in association with Joshua Logan und Leland Hayward. It is adapted from James Michener's book, Tales of the South Pacific.
Adaptation of the story was donc by Hammerstein and Lagan. Rodgers wrote the music, Hammerstein the lyrics. Tic show was staged by Logan al | the Majestic Theatre, a Shubert
