London, June 7.----New leaders in the County Cricket Cham- pionship table have come from the Whitsun week-end sorics of games.
Worcestershire now occupy that elevated position following their victory in two days against Essex and the failure to win by both Middlesex and Surrey, who were previously first and second, re spectively, in the table.
Worcestershire's win yesterday made their points total 56, while Middle- sex, taking only four for their first Innings lend, have 52 and Surrey, losing to Nottinghamshire, remain at 44, where they are joined by Yorkshire, who took the first innlogs lead in their drawn game with Lancashire.
