GunnerTM Kirswell won the feature event of the first day's pro- gramme in the Colony Athletic Championships at Caroline Hill Stadium yesterday, afternoon when he beat the Chinese Olympic runner, Wong Ching-ling, by three yards in the 1,500 Metras Run final with Reggie Silva of St Joseph's 20 yards back in third place.
