DAIRY FARM TO MOVE
Transfer From Pokfulam Being Considered
ANNUAL MEETING OF COMPANY
Referring to the possibility of the transfer of the farm from Pokfulam to a site in the New Territories, Mr E. R. Hill, Chairman of the Board of Directors, said at the 49th annual meeting of the Dairy Farm, Ice and Cold Storage Co., Ltd. at. Windsor House this morning that the Government had recently asked the Company to consider two sites, one in the Punjab Hill arca and the other near Tai Po Tsai.
The matter was now being considered by the Board. "Bearing in mind that the cost of such a transfer would be very considerable your Board has recommended the allocation of a further $500,000 to General Reserve,” he said. :21
