40% Increase In Peak Tram Traffic Armed
MORE THAN 1,230,750 PASSENGERS CARRIED
More than 1,230,750 passengers were carried by the Peak trams during the year- an increase of 40 percent on the year before-- it was disclosed at the annual meeting of the Peak Tramways Co., Ltd., held in the Jacobean Room of the Hongkong Hotel this morning.
Mr. D. E. Clark, Chairman of the Board of Directors, presided and reported a profit of $215,919.32 on the year's working. Clark said:
