No Easy Or Quick Victory

Washington, Mar. 17.-President Truman warned Congress today that signs of the Greek civil war turning against the Com-' munists "do not necessarily presage a quick and easy victory."

Presenting his sixth quarterly report on the United States military aid programme to Greece and Turkey, the President said the guerilla leaders were "ruthless in their methods and willing to ruin Greece in order to dominate her."

Much has been accomplished in training and equipping the Greek armed forces. How ever, much remains to be done, the President said.
