Separate Hearings Refused
SPARY AND KWOK IN DOCK
An application for a separate trial made by defence counsel was refused by Mr Justice Reynolds at the Criminal Sessions this morning when the PWD Larceny Case came up for trial before a jury of four men and three women. Scated in the dock of the Second Court were Kwok Kwong, forentan, and Austin Spary, electrical inspector, Grade 1, who face twelve charges, involving ten of larceny by public servant, one of obtaining money by false pre- tences from the steward of the Kowloon Bowling Green Club, and one of conspiracy to defraud the Government of money.
