Renders Valuable Services To The United Kingdom

(BY OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT)

London, Nov. 5. Mr Arthur Bottomley, Secretary for Overseas Trade last night in the House of Commons made an important statement concerning Far Eastern trade..........

Speaking about Hongkong, the Minister discussed Hongkong trade returns. He stated emphatically that to examine the figures at their face value "would not be correct, because Hongkong renders very valuable services, such as shipping, banking and insurance, and by that means gets an overall balance."
