36 Parliaments Represented At London Parleys

London, Oct. 19.—Migration and the distribu- tion of population were discussed by delegates from 36 Parliaments of the British Commonwealth when the first Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference since the war began here today.

The Conference was opened by the Prime Minister, Mr Clement Attlee, who welcomed the delegates as "fellow Parliamentarians who practise democracy and not merely use it as a cloak for a perverted form of Government."
