Reconvention Of UN Commission Urged

CANADIAN PROPOSITION

Paris, Oct. 18.-Colonel W. R. Hodgson (Aus- tralia) called for a test vote in the United Nations Political Committee this afternoon on the question of instructing the Atomic Energy Commission to continue its efforts to draw up an international treaty on atomic control.

He said: "Delay is dangerous and makes the eventual task more difficult. Most of us still have hope because we still have faith in the United Nations and if we do not have faith then there is no point in our being here."
