U.S. PRESENTS CONVENTION

Belgrade, Aug. 5.-The United States today denounced Russia's current monopolistic control of the Danube River and proposed a new international regime be set up under the United Nations.

Mr Cavendish Cannon, United States Ambassador to Yugoslavia, and delegatio to the Danubian Con- ference, submitted the American draft convention for nagivation of the Danube to the meeting.
