TRIAL OF INSPECTOR PETER GUILD
Evidence Given By Opium Divan Keepers
Several opium divan kecpers gave evidence that demands for money were made from them by Tam So, who alleged she was collecting for a "nine- fingered" Inspector, when the trial of two Police officers and a Chinese woman continued before Mr Justice Williams at the Criminal Sessions this morning.
The accused are Peter Oliver Guild.. Inspector of the Hongkong Police, Tam So, alias Fei-po So, à 33-year-old married woman, and Chan Pul-lam, Constable C99.
All accused are charged with do- manding $500 from Lo Wun-yung Guild and $500 from Pun Tal-so. and Tam are jointly charged with demanding $25 from Lo Wun-yung and $100 from Chan Nul, while Tam alone is charged on two further

$100 from Wong Sing and $40 from Lok Slu- hung.
