Police Trap
Of
Evidence of laying a police trap at 171 Lockhart Rond was given by Chan Kwai, widow, when the trial. against five men on charges of conspiracy to rob, attempted armed robbery and possession of arms continued before Mr Justice Gould at the Criminal Sessions this morning.
The accused are Li Yiu, 27, LI Chi-wing, 24, Chan Mo, 26, Lam Tak, 24, and Tong Shan, 23. First necusel is additionally charged with possession of an imitation revolver, second accused with possession of arins and ammunition and third necused with possession of arms.
Mr Percy Chen appears for first and fifth accused, Instructed by Mr /C. A, S. Rusa and Mr M. A. de Silve respectively. Mr J. Reynolds, Crown Counsel, assisted by Det. Sub-Insp.j D. G. MacPherson, is prosecuting. This Jury includes three women.
