Jerusalem, Mar. 31.-Forty people were killed and 60 injured when the Cairo-Haifa express was blown up by an electrically- detonated land mine near Benyamina, northern Palostine, today.
Most of the dead were in one coach, which was completely demolished when the mine exploded under a bridge north of Benyamina, Two other coaches were overturned. British military am- bulances and a unity of troops were sent to the scene for rescue work.
