Parliament is rising in a state of uneasy tension, conscious that the political developments of the next six weeks are unpredictable.
Harassed Ministers, their state of mind dis- turbed by the restlessness of Labour rankers, hold themselves in readiness for any new crisis moves decided by the Cabinet hierarchy.
