MERICA'S National Board of Review voted Samuel Cold- wyn's "The BostYears of Our Lives" one of the ton Best Films of 1946. This is a swift honour for a film which had its first showing (in New York); only recently, And now the Hollywood columnists ‚havo declared the film certain of the 1946 Acadomy Award.

The Board of Review placed "The Best Years of Oûr Lives" in third place. Only Laurence Olivier's" "Henry V" and the Italian documentary "Open City" bent it.

Although "The Best Yents of Our Lives", has come suddenly into this! allowing news, its history dates back to August, 1944,
