Rules For Winter Shooting Competition

Following are the draft, rütes of the Hongkong Rifle Association, Miniature Rio Section for the winter "knock-out" competition: A Unit or Club máy enter one teamO being only, the definition of "unit" that provided for annual prize meetings of the H.K.RA. Each team will shoot a total of 10 cards against each oppos Ing team, the maximum number of carda per match any one person may shoot being three.

The winning teain in each match will} be that scoring the highest aggregate with a total of 18 cards. All com- petitors must use the S.BLLE rife "os issued" with Morris tube and "open sights." Wind.gauge may be used and competitors may wear elbow pads, but no form of padding, and rife rest or aling will be allowed. The ammuni- tion is to be provided by the competing team.

25 Yards Range

All cards must be shot at 25 yards range, the official targets issued by the II.K.R.A. being used. Ten shots are allowed on each card taken out and ten minutes is allowed for each series of 10 shots. Matches will normally be "postal," but it is pointed out that it is preferable, however, that shoulder- to-shoulder shoots be arranged as far na possible.
