Ten Long Solar Periods Said Affecting Weather Forecasts

WASHINGTON, Aug. 6 (UP).-There are ten long periods in the radiation of the sun. Each of these has directly observable effects on the temperature and rainfall of the earth, but this varies with place and season and there is some as yet unknown factor which complicates long range weather forecasting.
