The funeral of the late Mrs Li (who until recently, was a member of the Legislative Council), was held at the Chinese Christian Cemetery, Pukfulum, yesterday afternoon. The late Mrs Macfadyen died at the Queen Mary Hospital on Saturday. She was 70 years of age and had been a resident of the Colony for some
13 or 14 years. A skliful artist, Mrs Macfadyen's death will be heavily felt in local art circles. She was the founder and President of the Hongkong Working Artists Guild and a staunch supporter of the Catholle Youths' Society.
In addition to her husband, Major Mra A. N. Macfadyen, the Inte Macfadyen leaves behind a son, Mr Q. A. A. Mucfadyen, former Mogis- trate, and two daughters, with whom much sympathy will be felt.
