Super Transport Plane Developed
KANSAS CITY, July 2. (UP).-Transcontinental and Wes- tern Air, Inc., announces that it has developed a 57-passenger transport plane capable of 350 miles an hour top speed.
The air line said the plane, largest land transport yet pro- jected for construction, had been under secret development for two years by Howard Hughes, round-the-world flier, and Jack Frye, TWA president, at the Lockheed aircraft plant in Bur- bank, Calif.
