H. A. ALVES' rink (L. J. Silva, A. M. Rodrigues and F. V.V. Ribeiro) entered the Third Round of the Colony Rinks lawn bowls Champion. ship yesterday when they eliminated R. Morrison's four (J. V. Ramsay, T. Coleman and M. Ferguson) 22-21 at. the Kowloon Bowling Green Club.

a great match that concluded on a splendid fighting finishing note when, with Alves lending 22-17, Morrison and his men laid a four and narrowly missed taking the game to an extra head.
After an opening of 3 by Mor- rison's rink, Alves' four scored a 5 ahend and though Morrison weni ngain at 7-5 Alves drew level at 7- all and on the succceding head led 0-7.
