Arab World Will Back Britain

CAIRO, June G (Reuter).--- "The recent speech of Mr Eden and the Armistice terms in Iraq are new proofs of England's friendship towards the Arabs,” say's an "Arab authority," writing in the newspaper, "AL Ahram."

"This has more effect 0 Arab opinion than propaganda and press comments, but the present situation is so serious that It cannot be setiled by mero words,

"Arabs are anxious concerning their future. They believe that the result is still in the balance and that they must bear their share in the Aglting which might help England to win.

"It is necessary that the Arab and Moslem' worlid should now mobilise their power for the final blow.

Price of Independence- "Arabs are willing to pay the price of their independence and unfon, and if England now needs the

help of all her friends to hasten the date of the democracies victory, why then this silence?

"If British statesmen are aware of these sentiments, then we have overy right to expect that they should come to an understanding with the Arab lenders as a preparatory.step for closer collaboration" before it is too late."
