PROPAGANDA IN ATROCITIES

German Campaign

LONDON, June 5 (Reuter).

A fresh propaganda wave on the subject of the so-called British atrocities in Crete has been ordered by Mr. Goebbels, accord- ng to information reaching London to-night.

Emphasis is to be laid on questions of treatment of German prisoners, especially parachutists, and every resource of the Nazi propaganda machine is to be employed.

Whatever the explanation, it seems apparent that Goebbels trained Nazi propaganda companies, who accom-. panted the army in the field, will be urged at all costs to supply reports to bear out this new campaign.
