ZURICH, Apr. 6 (UP).-Yugo-Slavian and Greek troops fighting side by side with the British Tommies furiously re- sisted the Nazi's war machine which crashed over their frontiers at dawn.
In the absence of any direct communications with Berlin,
Belgrade, Bucharest, Sofia and Budapest, the Nazi and Fas- cist radios throughout the day blared the Axis version of what is happening.
The Nazis boasted that after three heavy Luftwaffe at- tacks, Belgrade was "a sea of flames," but they admitted meet- ing with strong resistance, particularly from the Greeks in the Struma Valley.
Hitler is believed to be using a half million men or more against one million Yugo-Slavs and an unknown number of Greeks and British, in tactics paralleling those used against Poland.
