Capt Lyon, of the Gordon Highlanders, Singapore, married the beautiful daughter of a French Government official in Indo- China Just prior to the outbreak of war. He met his wife when he made a solo yacht voyage from Singapore to Indo-Ching and running off his course, arrived at a lonely faland off Salgon.
The Island was the Devil's Island
of Indo-China.
On this island he met
his bride, the daughter of the Super- intendent of the large prison and convict settlement. They were mor- ried in Salgon.

Counterfoils of every ticket sold must be in the ens dy of the supervisors befor the draw. Any ticket, sold for which no corresponding coun- terfoil has been returned to the supervisors will not be included in the draw.
3. A ticket is entitled to one prizu having only. Any number, drawn a prize, will be deen.ed cancelled for the remainder of the draw,
4. Prizes will be, delivered to the person who produces the re- quisite winning ticket, No right to a prize can be recognia- ed except the right conferred by the production of the requisite ticket.
