VICHY, MAR. 2 (UP).—IT IS LEARNED THAT FRANCE HAS ACCEPTED THE JAPANESE FOrmula for MEDIATION IN THAI-INDO-CHINA DISPute involving the CESSION OF THE PROVINCES OF LAOS AND CAMBODIA BY THE FRENCH.
The decision was taken at last night's meeting of the Council of Ministers. It is learned that five major provinces are involved, namely all of Louang, Prabang and Pakse in Laos, lying west of the Mokong River; all of Siemreap and most of Battambang and Kompong-Thom provinces in
north and west Cambodia.
