Although a decrease in profits of nearly three lakhs as compared with last year was reported at the fifty-third general meeting of the Hongkong Land Invest- ment and Agency Company, Ltd, held in the Boardroom of Messrs Jardine, Matheson and Co, Ltd, at noon to-day, the Chairman, the Hon. Mr J. J. Paterson, said that the actual property business of the Company was on the increase.
