Within sight of his native land after having spent most of his life in Australia, Yeung Sung, 64, died on board a British ship nine hours.be- fore the boat docked at the Kowloon

He died as a result of cerebral haemorrhage from injuries received during heavy seas shortly after the ship had left Manila. Passengers stated that Yeung got up during Mon- day night to get a drink of tea, and fell down heavily on his head owing to the lurching of the ship. Another fall shortly after must have proved fatal.

The ship should have arrived yesterday afternoon, but was delayed about 12 hours owing to the heavy
