Two Bombers Downed
Few Nazis Visit Britain LONDON, Jan. 22 (Reuter). --Two enemy bombers were destroyed by R.A.F. fighters to- day.
An ollicial communique an- nouncing this states that shortly before dawn bombs were dropped on the Kent coast. Later a single aircraft dropped bombs in East Riding, Yorkshire, but little damage and no casualties were reported.

Hand testified that he and Aldridge met two elvilians who invited them. for a drink. Drinks, sandwiches and cigarettes were ordered and sub- sequently the two civilians left.
Lost Their Way
of
Head said that he and Aldridge also left the premises but they went through the wrong door and found themselves in the lower portion the premises. They tried to gel out but got lost. Head sald that they met a lot of Chinese and one of them. "slung a chopper at Aldridge." The chopper was picked up and the two of them went up some stairs and knocked on the door which was open- ed, The Police were there.
Aldridge also sold that they hid gune to the Kowloon Hotel with the two civilians. When the Manoger Inquired about the payment of le bili, said Aldridge, he told the Manager that
he had not enough
money for the bills but he did have. some money on him. The manager", did not want to take the money.
Aldridge continued: "Then we went away and took the wrong way. We were walking along when some- thing fell on me and I found that it. Was chopper. I saw some Chinese above us and they were laughing at us. We requested them to open the doos to let us through but they con-. tinued laughing."
At the end of the ovidence, Mr
Tamworth told the defendants that on the basis of the evidence he had- heard he did not believe their stories. They were found guilty on the charge: of obtaining credit by fraud and damage to the padlock.
Defendants wore then
romanded. until Saturday.
