CAPTURED BARDIA

THE AUSTRALIANS, BACKED UP BY BRITISH ARMOURED FÓRCES, DASHED THROUGH BARDIA LIKE AN EXPRESS TRAIN. THEY CARRIED OUT PERFECTLY THE TIMETABLE OPERATIONS PLANNED BY THEIR COMMANDERS.

The timetable was prepared at advanced headquarters near the Libyan fron tier. Each stage of the attack was worked out in the most minute detail and all were carried out in accordance with the most optimistic hopes.
