The Securities and Exchange Commission's recent study of the United States' 200 largest non-financial corporations cites the Ford Motor Company as the "best example” of control by one family.
The report, propared for the Monopoly Committee, shows that three members of the family-Henry Ford, his son, Edsel, and Edsel's wife, Mrs Clara J. Ford-own all of the stock, and in so doing rank as the wealthiest family owners of corporation stock in America..
