ROME, Dec. 8 (Reuter).-Two Italian generals were killed when a plane carrying members of the Italian armistice com mission crashed on a flight from Rome to Turin..

SHANGHAI, Dec. 9 (UP)—Japanese gendarmes, after negotiations which lasted an hour, this morning released four Municipal Council constables and one foreign Sub-Inspector, whom they had'arrested last night after the discovery of a badly injured Chinese constable, of the Japanese controlled Govern- ment, within the blockaded western district.
