Latest Census Figures Released

MANILA, Oct. 25 (UP).—Revealing the small number of Americans who have migrated to the Philippines during the 42 years it has been under the American flag, figures released by the Philippine. Census Commission revealed there are only 8,700 Americans living. In the islands.

Of the total, 3,191 Americans reside in Manila and 1,958, mostly in U.S. military service, live in nearby Rizal_province. There are 438 Americans in Cavite, sito of the US. naval atation, and 766 in Mountain Province, most of them living in mile-high Bagulo.
