Hunol, Nov. 12. Preparations for the inauguration of a direct shipping service between Macno and Salgon were completed last month and the first French ship to leave left Salgon on November 5.

It is expected to reach Macao to-

pigs, 370 tons of cool and many other aundry French products..

The import of this largo cargo of rice into the Japanese occupied area In Kwangtung will relieve the shortage now being suffered by Chinesei civilians. In the Japanese occupied area rice is being sold for about $2 (Japanese military notes) for about olb.

Part of the cargo is said to be for Hongkong-Wah Kiu Yat Po.
