In Family Quarrel

Miss Phyllis Harrop, Lady Assistant to the Secretary for Chinese Affairs, was called to give evidence at the Summary Court this morning, when hearing of the action brought by Li Mel-yuek, alias KI Ken-far, of Cheungshawan Itoad, against Law Kong-hon, alias Lau Fan-yok, of 3 Woosung Street, for $1,000 The claim was made up of the value of ornaments, jewellery and costs, was continued before Mr. Justice E. H. Williams, and clothing to the total of $646.50, and $600 in cash which plaintiff alleged she had handed to defendant for safe keeping.
