VISITOR COMING
Since Hongkong's evacuation order went into effect, few, if any, in- teresting visiters have been able to call at this port. The Colony is now, however, to have a visit from Winifred C. Cullis, D.Sc., C.B.D., an eminent British women, Professor
who is visiting the Far East and is expected to arrive in Hongkong on Sunday. She will, it is hoped, spend
some time in the Colony.
Dr. Cullis, who is professor at the University of London and at the London School of Medicine for Women, is travelling in the Far East with the Intention of studying
At first hand some of the problems affecting this part of the world. During her stay in Hongkong Dr. Cullis will bo able to make many valuable contacts and the Colony will welcome this opportunity of hearing of the war effort in Britain as it affects the daily lives of our people.
Records Of Useful Work
Dr. Cullis has a long record of useful work behind her. Her in- terests are wide and anything that tends to foster international goodwill receives her immediate sympathy and attention.
During her three weeks visit to Shanghal, Dr. Cullis made a number of interesting contacts as well as addressing several representative groups in that city.
