THAILAND TO ABROGATE NON-AGGRESSION PACT UNLESS VICHY ACCEDES

THE PREMIER OF THAILAND, LUANG BIPUL SONGRAM, ADDRESSING THE CLOSING OF the SIAMESE PARLIAMENT ON SATURDAY, ANNOUNCED THAT THAI- LAND INTENDED TO ABROGATE THE NON-aggression PACT WITH FRANCE UNLESS VICHY ACCEDED TO THAI'S TERRITORIAL DEMANDS PRESENTED ON SEPTEMBER 13.
THE PACT WAS CONCLUDED ON JUNE 12.
The Premior pointed out that the treaties of friendship signed with Japan and Britain at the same date have already been ratified but similar action on the pact with France has been withheld becauso of the changes in the international situation.
