A GALLOP, which are under my
observation last Wednesday, was that put up by Jober ridden by Lur. 1. Chao over a mile. It was not performance that I should give n head line, but had the jockey put less pressure in the frat half of the journey. Jober would have finished much better.
A close study of the gallop would show that the mlle was covered in 2.08-the first half being run at 1.02 and for that class I was cer- tainly two task. The last four fur- long were cantered in 1.06 with a

seconds crawling the home stretch. Had it been on the reverso, Jober would, as I have said. finished much better.
