THE "TELEGRAPH" LEARNED FROM AN AUTHORITATIVE SOURCE THIS MORNING THAT THE JAPANESE ARMY HAS PRESENTED FAR-REACHING DEMANDS TO FRENCH INDO- CHINA.
THESE NEW DEMANDS, ACCEPTANCE OF WHICH WILL MEAN THE VIRTUAL END OF FRENCH SOVEREIGNTY, HAVE BEEN PRESENTED IN THE FORM OF AN ULTIMATUM. According to the "Telograph" source, the ultimatum will expire at midnight on Sunday. Confirmation of the ultimatum is received in a "United Press"
