GENEVA, Aug. (Domei).-Renewed ten- sion between Soviet Russia and Finland is reported in French Press despatches from Helsingfors.

It is claimed that the Red Army has massed 28 divisions along the Kare- han Isthmus.

Finland is taking pre. cautionary measures.

These include the re- quisitioning of all essential foodstuffs and fuel and the recalling of soldiers from leave.

Rumours are rampant that Soviet Russia is pre- zenting new demands to Finland.
