W. Hennessy repeats the demand he made in February last for more.

His grievance is that, as he acted promptly and obeyed the telegraphic instruction, ordering him to move, and as the other foreman then on the move obeyed them slowly, he was deprived of salary from 1 Dec. 76 to 1 March 77.

The only salary which is available for him to draw is one day's salary from Barbados, i.e. that for the 1st of Dec: last. See minutes on 7395/77.

Mr. Hennessy, as Acting Harbour Master, was liberally treated at the time of his last move. See file 7284/75, perused and deposited on it, as what he then received would seem to be amends for what he is now out of pocket.
