WAR FUND BOMBERS

Will Be Named As Hongkong Squadron

The South China Morning Post, Ltd., sponsors of the long- kong war fund for bombers, have agreed to Lord Beaver brook's suggestion that bombers, purchased through the. fund should be named in such a man' ner as to associate them with the Colony.

This was conveyed to the Colonial Secretary this morning in a letter, when the Government was also ;re-" quested to transmit by telegraph a further contribution of $100,000 from the "South China Morning Post" and "Hongkong Telegraph fund.

Further contributions to the fund have been received to-day, acknow- ledgments for which follow.
