THE LAI TSUN Swimming Union gained their third successive victory in Open Medley Relay races when they beat the Chinese Bathing Club quartetto by an arm's length in the 400 metres (four styles) Medley Relay held yesterday at the Kowloon Chinese Y.M.C.Á.'s gala at Laichikok.
Mak Wai-ming, former Colony champion, made a welcome and successful return to competitive swimming, winning both events for which he entered the 100 metres free-style in the fairly good time of 67.2/5 secs., and the 200 metres breast-stroke in 3 mins. 12.7/10 secs.
The 150 motres free-style relay for members of the Winter Swimmers Club, was clearly the most popular race, and Lee Hon-kee's team received A rousing cheer when they finish- ed just ahead of Yeung Man-kit's team,
