HEDY LAMARR HAS

A "SECRET" BABY

HEDY LAMARR, famous film star, has had baby. The child's birth, a few weeks ago, has been kept so secret that even the smartest Hollywood gossip writers are un- aware-that-little-Gene-Markey-lic's named after his fathers in the world.

The news was revealed by Hedy's mother, Mrs. Trude Kiesler, who is in London.

In a room of her Kensington flat, decorated with photographs of Hedy as a baby girl, Mrs. Kiesler told a reporter that she was the proudest grandmother in the land.

Home To Her Baby

Hedy Lamarr has earned Holly- wood fame as a "glamour girl," but in the film that first made her news, "Extase," she attracted attention by her brillant portrayal of the love and tenderness of a Young Mother.

The time which elapsed between the divorce being granted by Lord Stevenson in the Court of Session and the marriage ceremony was a record for Britain and almost equalled that of Reno.
