Previous Convictions of Chan On-
1st Conviction for Larceny on 26th January 1874 - 7 days hard labour and 20 strokes.
2nd Conviction for Larceny. P.M. case 7561 of 1874, three months hard labour, and two whippings of ten strokes each time.
3rd Conviction for Larceny 4th January 1876, six months hard labour, and 12 months security, failing to find Security he was deported 18 July 1876.
4th Conviction for returning from deportation 12 months hard labour, he was pardoned conditionally, and branded on 27th February 1877 — 26th July 1877.
