AMSTERDAM, Feb. 23 (Reuter), Following the discovery of a spy ring in Holland, arrests are expected shortly in connection with luminous balls which have recently been fired into the air at night in various parts of the country.
The purpose of the balls is evident- ly to guide foreign aircraft.
It is already reported, though it is not confirmed, that some.
nome people being held in connection with the spy plot, are suspected of having sent them up. The military authorities mean- while are investigating reports that further coloured balls were shot in the sky near Amersfoort and Loenen A few nights ogo.
