Do You Smoke Correctly?

UE largely to the spread of the smoking habit among women, nearly twice as many cigarettes are smoked to-day as 20 years ago.
Yet, to a man, women still do not seem to hayo mastered the art of smoking. They smoka a cigarette too casually, They puff away at it, get the smoke in their eyes, and generally drop the cigarelle into the ash-tray before it is three-quarters finished.

One should not, perhaps, expect a woman to inhale, but at least she should give her palate an opportunity to savour the sweetness of the tobacco. Finn Officer As
Russian Spy
When a highly placed Finnish officer in Petsamo shot himself with his own revolver, details of the Russian espionage system in northern Finland came to light. It appears that, ho-although com- mandant of the Finnish troops at Petsamo-was himself the chief of the local Russian espionage.
When the Russian invasion began he disposed of ammunition and sup- plies sent from Helsingfors su that the Finns had no weapons.
also supplied the Russian commander with details of Finnish tactical dispositions, and gave him a plan showing all the land mines laid by the Finns.
Apparently it was owing to this trenchery that the Finns were driven out of the Petsamo district early in the war.

I may stato that I am turned 70 years of age, being born on July 22nd, 1884. I am a house painter by trade and still at work. I can work off any ladder, no matter what height, or in cradles which are hung outside high build- ings. I have been asked many times how I carry my age so well, as I only look about 50.
