PLANNED REVIVAL Efforts Being Made To Reorganise Colony Competitions
(By "Tinker")
SEVERAL TIMES now and in several nows- papers comment has been made on the disgraceful condition into which athletics in Hongkong have been allowed to relapse. And though it is not discussing anything new to bring the mattor up again, there is at the moment something new in that a little band of runners and jumpers, most of them good in their own particular branch, are most scriously thinking of reorganising athletics in Hongkong.
They are an enthusiastic little band, and, fresh from other parts of the world, are astonished and disbelieving that there is no Association in the Colony. Where are the records they ask? Where, indeed!
University Annual Sports Meeting
The twenty-fifth annual athletic meeting of the Hong- kong University will be held on Saturday, March 9, from 1.30 p.m. on the University ground; Pokfulam.
