Description of the proposed Breakwater

5th March 1877.

The principal part of the Breakwater to be made in an E.S.E. direction

from Kellet Island towards the East end of Duddell's Bund leaving a passage of

200 feet wide close to the Bund for

boats to

pass.

The Breakwater to be 270 yards

20 feet wide and 5 feet above high water mark and to be made of rough blocks of granite.

The greatest depth of water being

only 9 feet at low water.

On the N.W. side of Kellet Island, the patch of rocks to be joined to the
