When I was first taken before the Magistrate I said I was 18. I was told to understate my age.
On the second occasion that I was taken up I gave my age correctly viz 21 years.
I have no other relatives but my mother in Thongking. But I have a clansman, Wham-acking, employed as Chair-Coolie by Messrs Anfell & Co. I have no friends who are respectable persons.

This morning under the instruction of the Inspector I went in search of Ying Nai and found him in Pakting, Paifing Shan. The said Ying Nai stated that I am an Aunt to Chan Tim Ling now in Gaol; that my mother is in Nam D'aw. Chan Tim Ling came to Aighting with his father. I have known Chan Tim Ling since he was born in Nam D'aw.
